Police warning to Rhyl hybrid car owners

North Wales Police are urging Rhyl owners of hybrid vehicles to be vigilant following a theft of a catalytic convertor from a car at nearby Meliden.

A North Wales Police Community Safety Central spokesperson said: “A catalytic converter was stolen from a Toyota Prius and a further attempt on a Lexus RX400 in Meliden.

“It happened at approximately 7.20pm yesterday. Three males in a blue Skoda Octavia have been seen leaving the area. If you have any information ring 101.”
