Rhyl store plans new front look to support customers

A Rhyl family run convenience store is preparing to make alterations to make its shopping experience easier for residents due to the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Denmore Premier Foodstore has submitted a planning application to Denbighshire County Council to remove the front entrance porch of the store and install an open canopy in front of the premises.

The family run business look after residents near the Rhyl Coast road where the store is located. They supply groceries, fresh produce daily, frozen foods, tobacco and alcohol, the National Lottery, sweets, mags and daily newspapers.

Development of the store is planned to make sure customers are safe and comfortable while waiting to access the premises.

The application has been put in to provide shelter for customers waiting outside the shop due to Covid-restrictions only allowing a maximum of four people in the store at one time.
